After Schools Clubs

At Richmount, we believe that learning and personal development extend far beyond the classroom. We are therefore proud to be delivering a varied after-school programme throughout the year, providing our pupils with a wide range of opportunities to develop new skills, discover new interests and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Alongside our enrichment activities, we will continue to offer our After-School Care Club for younger pupils. This service runs daily from 1:55pm until 2:40pm for Primary 1 and Primary 2 children, and on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Primary 3 pupils. The club provides a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment for children at the end of the school day, while also offering valuable flexibility for families.

We are delighted to continue our partnership with external providers, offering Healthy Kidz After-School Club on Mondays for both P1-P3 and P4-P7 pupils, alongside Harps Hockey on Wednesdays for P1-P3 and P4-P7 pupils. These programmes provide excellent opportunities for pupils to stay active, develop teamwork skills and enjoy learning through sport and recreation.

In addition, our teaching staff will be delivering a wide variety of clubs throughout the year, designed to cater for different ages, abilities and interests. Planned opportunities will include areas such as music, art, STEM, ICT, sport and more. By offering different clubs at various points throughout the year, we hope to provide greater choice and variety for our pupils while ensuring that as many children as possible have the opportunity to participate in activities that interest them.

This approach also allows our staff the time to carefully plan, prepare and deliver high-quality experiences that are engaging, enjoyable and beneficial for all participants. We are incredibly grateful to our teachers for the enthusiasm and commitment they demonstrate in providing these opportunities beyond the school day.

As Healthy Kidz and Harps Hockey are delivered by external providers, a small and reasonable fee applies, with payments made conveniently through the school app. All school-led clubs will be provided free of charge, unless a minimal contribution is requested to cover specific resources or materials.

We look forward to seeing our pupils embrace these opportunities, develop new talents and create lasting memories through our after-school programme this year.
